Bouquet Canyon Community Overview

Bouquet Canyon is one of the first of many neighborhoods in Saugus. There are now over 30 subdivisions or neighborhoods and most include single family detached homes, all available in many different shapes, sizes and designs. Most of the older neighborhoods have no homeowner’s associations. Then, some areas do have HOA’s but the cost is minimal and include the use of private parks, pools, spas and more.

There are no private HOA amenities that apply to ALL Bouquet Canyon neighborhoods. Instead, amenities can be found on a individual neighborhood basis. Some neighborhoods have a HOA amenities and some do not. Many have no HOA whatsoever. If searching for homes in nice neighborhoods without HOA’s, there are a good number from which to choose.

If planning on buying a home in a reasonably priced neighborhood, they can be found here in almost every price range. Home buyers can choose from affordable condos and townhomes, median priced homes, executive style homes, or even expensive ranch properties. If interested in Bouquet Canyon condos or townhomes, don’t miss the Brock Canyon Villas, the Terrace, Bouquet Village, New Horizon’s or the cute little Sonrisa community.

Bouquet Falls and Bouquet Creek

Enjoy a hike along Bouquet Creek and find Bouquet Falls. It’s is located at approximately the 9.9 mile marker up Bouquet Canyon from Santa Clarita. If you live in Santa Clarita, it’s a short drive up Bouquet Canyon and then a short hike up to see the waterfalls. The best time to visit will be during the Spring, especially after a wet winter.

CAUTION: While hiking, always be watchful of Poison Oak and during the hot months, watch for Rattlesnakes. The poison oak is pretty easy to avoid, so just keep your eyes peeled and you should be okay.

Bouquet Falls can be quite nice, however it’s not officially maintained and you will see some graffiti here and there. Sometimes there’s a bit of trash around, but the last time we visited it was reasonably clean. Yes, there’s a trail to follow that will take you to a couple different water fall locations, but there is no actual trail head. You can find the location when searching Yelp or Google Maps.
