Estrella Vista Neighborhood Overview
The neighborhood consists of large, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes sized from approximately 2,024 to 3,382 SF. The most common homes come with 4 or 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Many homes come with lofts and a few with casitas. At least a third of the homes have their own built-in swimming pools and hot tubs. There are no condos or townhomes here in Estrella Vista.
As mentioned, the homes are larger than the norm and are quite comfortable. Let’s face it, it’s not everywhere one can find a house with a separate casita or RV parking. Even the rare 3 bedroom single story homes are sized over 2,000 SF! Interested buyers who need the extra space or like to entertain should certainly take a close look at the homes here in Estrella Vista. We almost forgot to mention, most of Estrella Vista is situated on the hillsides, so some homes come with views.
Those researching neighborhoods in this area should also check out the Canyon Ridge and Miramonte neighborhoods. Both are nearby and very similar, so we always encourage interested buyers to consider both. In fact, nearly all Copper Hill North neighborhoods are worth a look.
Amenities in Estrella Vista
The HOA cost is quite reasonable, but primarily only includes common area maintenance. Although there are no shared community pools, hot tubs or recreational areas, the neighborhood looks fresh, clean and well maintained. Even better, there is NO Mello Roos!
Nearby Park & Trails
Copper Hill Park is less than a half mile to the east. There is also Haskell Canyon Trailhead where hikers enjoy miles of multi-use trails extending throughout the Haskell Canyon Protected Open Space. There are developed trails at the park and dirt trails in the open space.
Schools & Local Conveniences
Nearby schools include Mountain View Elementary, Arroyo Seco Junior High and Saugus High School. The high school and middle school are both part of the William S Hart School District. The elementary school is part of the Saugus Union School District.
There is no convenience shopping and dining directly within the community, but residents can drive less than a half mile east to a Walgreens or a mile west to restaurants, convenience shopping and more. It’s just a short drive to more parks and plenty of shopping dining locations.

Estrella Vista Recap
Estrella Vista is just 1 of 24 subdivisions in the MLS area known as Copper Hill North. It’s actually situated at the lower portion, nestled between Canyon Ridge and Canyon Heights. View the Copper Hill North neighborhood map here.
Even though development was completed in 2004, Estrella Vista still looks like a newer housing development. Don’t forget, the HOA cost here is low and with no Mello Roos, this neighborhood is certainly worth serious consideration. Some might think not having shared HOA recreation amenities is a drawback, but since nearly half of the homes have their own built-in pools and hot tubs, it’s less of an issue.
