Some Canyon Country neighborhoods tend to be overlooked — especially by buyers who may be newer to the area. There are a few, but one example is the Rainbow Glen community, which includes several distinct neighborhoods, many with their own amenities and homeowner’s associations.
At the northern end of Canyon Country, you’ll find Stone Crest — a thoughtfully planned neighborhood offering a mix of homes, with some of the newest residences located higher up in the community. Another standout is Stetson Ranch. While not gated, it offers a quiet, secluded setting with beautifully maintained streets, a private trail system for residents, and a charming circular drive at the very top.
For those interested in newer construction, Pelona Hills — located in Sand Canyon along the Sierra Pelona Mountains that inspired its name — is expected to begin opening for home sales in early 2026. By the way, there’s NO Mello Roos in Pelona Hills!
