Overview of the Lantana Hills

As mentioned, Lantana Hills is a somewhat hidden and because it’s nicely tucked away down between the surrounding hills or mountains, much of the outside noise is naturally buffered, making it quiet and serene. We mention this because some might think the close proximity to the 14 freeway is a drawback, but based on our visits there’s no noise to speak of, making the location an added plus!

Built from 2000 to 2002, the community consists of 151 traditional two story homes. They range in size from approximately 2,297 to 3,185 square feet and come with four or five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a two or three car garage. The homes also have a family room and many come with a loft and/or a bonus room, den or office. Generally, all the bedrooms are upstairs, but some of the larger homes have one bedroom situated downstairs. Each home has a front and backyard and some residents can even sit out back while enjoying a view of the surrounding hillsides. A perfect spot to relax with your favorite beverage.

Drive Through Lantana Hills

When driving into the community you’re greeted by an attractive Lantana Hills sign. From there you’ll proceed down Oakhurst Drive to the bottom of the community. Basically, keep following the road while making left turns each time the road ends. Eventually, you’ll have circled back to Oakhurst Dr. Take a right, drive up the hill and exit the same way you entered. Like us, you will likely noticed the entire community is beautifully maintained.
