Holiday Lights Locations Verified in 2023
Although the 2023 holiday season has come and gone, we’ll update the locations of the best displays once again in 2024. Simply bookmark this post and check back about a week after Thanksgiving for all the latest!
Each holiday season some local residents go all out with holiday decorations and “light up” their Santa Clarita homes and neighborhoods. Once Thanksgiving weekend passes, we begin touring SCV to identify locations to be verified or included in this post. See below our address list and maps to the neighborhoods with lighting displays throughout Santa Clarita.

Heart of Valencia in Old Orchard Il on Plaza Escovar – (Verified for 2023) OUTSTANDING & UNIQUE! The Silas Family contacted us in 2021 and again in 2023 to invite everyone to check out their light show. Over 19,000 pixel lights set to music. Show runs 5:30pm to 9pm Sun-Thu and 5:30 to 11pm Fri-Sat. Approximately 1:45 minutes long and 33 songs. We saw the show and feel like it’s the BEST of ALL. See the Map.
N. Valencia Just Off Copper Hill Dr. Wakefield Winter Wonderland is AMAZING! (Verified for 2023). This is always one of the best displays around and a long time family favorite. Located off Copperhill Drive and Courtland Way. Their hours listed on Facebook are 5:30pm to 10pm. They even show up in Google Maps!
N. Valencia Just Off Copper Hill Dr. Don’t miss walking Homestead Place! (Verified for 2023) – In the past, the neighbors here went crazy and string lights on cables extending across the street. This one is lots of fun, so plan on parking the car and walking through. Find it here!

Stevenson Ranch Just Off Poe Pkwy on Keats Lane. (Verified for 2023) – Thanks to Tara Schiro for sharing. According to the Amazon driver, it’s the best display in Stevenson Ranch! Find it here!

Valencia In Northbridge Off of Decoro Dr. 27631 Woodfield Pl in Valencia Northbridge (Verified for 2023) – This one was rated in the Signal newspaper’s 2015 Noteworthy Holiday Light Display and we walked the neighborhood in 2023! Located near Grandview Dr. and Hathaway. We also heard you can tune your radio to 99.1 FM for a music. Find it on the map!
N. Valencia In Northpark Off of Copper Hill Dr. Angelica Place Liana Lane in North Valencia (Verified for 2023) – If you take Copper Hill Drive, North Park Drive, Angelica Place. Although not quite as many homes decorated as in the past, it’s still worth the visit. View the Map

Near the 14 Freeway – Green Mountain Drive and Golden Valley – (Verified for 2021) A stand alone home tastefully decorated. See the Map
Magic Mountain – Once again they have Holiday in the Park that runs from 11/23/23 to 12/31/23 on Select Evenings. (Verified for 2023) There are various attractions and displays all decked out for the holidays. Visitors can enjoy the festivities while visiting the park. We expect this 2023 season to be another outstanding year for holiday decorations, but time will tell if it’s as good as 2020! Due to Covid, in 2020 more people than usual decorated their homes to spread holiday cheer. We did too!
SAVE TIME – Skip all the directions and just drive through the Northbridge community. Go north on Hillsborough or Grandview from Decoro Dr. This is the most densely populated area of lighting displays in the SCV. See the Map
Dec. 15th – 17th City of Santa Clarita offers the Holiday Lights Tour on the Trolley. Starts at 6:00pm each evening. $3 each. Tours depart from the McBean Regional Transit Center, 24589 Mall Entrance, Santa Clarita, CA 91355. Visit SCV Page Here!

Avenida Avila in Tesoro of Valencia (Verified for 2019) – We drove by this location on 12/5/19 and only saw one nicely decorated home. You can find it here!

Best Way to Find Christmas Lights in Santa Clarita
When we moved to Santa Clarita back in 1976 there were few over the top Christmas Lights displays. Now, here in 2021 there are many, and they are AMAZING! It all starts just after Thanksgiving weekend and most holiday displays stay lit until New Years. In fact, there are so many different neighborhoods with great displays, it’s nearly impossible to keep track of them all.
We think the best way to find entire neighborhoods of Christmas Lights displays is to just get in your cars and drive around looking. It’s the most fun because then you’re surprised when you find a good one! Of course, many of us don’t have the time to drive around aimlessly, so we have provided our lists above to point you in the right direction. We also like to bundle up, park the car and walk the sidewalks. Some residents hang out in their driveways with their fire pits going and offer treats and goodies for the children. Such fun!
Some neighborhood residents even band together and create themes for their entire block or cul de sac. Others go it alone, spending months building unique structures so they can light those up too! Geez, some of these Christmas holiday exhibits are like going on a ride at Disneyland! You might see flying reindeers, sleighs on rooftops, cartoon characters, gingerbread houses and much more.
One thing for sure, if you’re looking for an evening of holiday fun and entertainment for people of all ages, the best Christmas light displays are right here at the homes and neighborhoods of Santa Clarita.
