Williams Ranch is a brand new, 430 acre development of homes coming soon in the Hasley Canyon area of Castaic and situated about 1 mile west of Interstate 5. Williams Homes is a highly regarded builder and prospective buyers can bet this community will be something special! As of Feb 2022, the project is progressing nicely. The crews are in the process of placing footings and we should begin seeing some framing in the next couple months. Everyone is excited about this community, including us!

There will be approximately 497 homes in neighborhoods spread out over 430 acres. We are pleased to hear that many of the homes will be single story houses. New homebuyers can expect good sized lots in neighborhoods surrounded by the natural beauty commonly found in the hills and open space of Castaic. Recently, it was reported the smallest lot size will be 7,000 sq ft. Just so you know, the average lot size for homes in California is 5,575 sq ft.
We expect some homes will have room to park the RV or boat, a good thing especially for those who like spending time at nearby Castaic Lake! As an added bonus, some homes will come with terrific views.
Looking at the maps, the new development is near vineyards, orchards and lovely surrounding hillsides.

Williams Ranch is a master planned community and residents can expect to find some nicely appointed recreational amenities including a clubhouse, swimming pool, hot tub, cabanas, fire pits, greenbelts. The facility will be nicely landscaped with great views and acres of lovely orchards and vineyards.
Within the community residents will enjoy walkable trails, perfect for walking, jogging, bicycle riding or a quiet evening stroll. The trails within the community are expected to link up to parks and vineyards.
We know there will be HOA dues, but it’s too early to know what the monthly amounts will be.
Local Parks and Attractions
The locals enjoy easy access to the upper and lower Castaic Lakes. There are a variety of activities available at the lower lake including a beach, camping, picnic areas and loads of hiking trails. The large upper lake is perfect for boating, fishing and water skiing.

If looking to buy a brand new home here in Williams Ranch or any other new development, be sure to take us with you on your first visit. Why? Because, if you sign in at the development without us, you lose your right to have us represent you on your new home purchase. We love this new community and the folks at Williams are terrific, but we know all of the questions to ask and exactly what to watch for when buying a home in a new development. Schools & Local Conveniences Nearby Williams Ranch
Other schools within Castaic include Castaic Middle School and Castaic High School. The elementary school and middle school are part of the Castaic Union School District. The high school is part of the William S. Hart School District. See the attendance boundary map.
Future Williams Ranch residents can expect to enjoy the same local conveniences as those available to other Castaic residents. In addition to the lakes, it’s a very short drive to the Castaic Sports Complex. This includes the center, ball fields, skate park, baseball fields, gymnasium, trails, horseshoe pits & more.
There is local convenience shopping & dining at the nearby Castaic Village Shopping Center. A partial list of locations include McDonald’s, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, Panda Express, etc.
