Overview of Canyon Village
The Canyon Village condos could be a wonderful first home! In the past, this condo facility has been FHA approved, but be sure to check our FHA approved condo list to find out if it’s still approved. Usually, this particular facility is renewed upon expiration.
Built around 1980, the Canyon Village condos are sized from approximately 1,078 to 1,250 square feet and come with 2 or 3 bedrooms and 1.5 to 2.5 bathrooms. All homes come with a two car garage with storage space. Additional parking spaces are also available for rent at an added cost. Some units have laundry hookups in the garage while others are inside the unit. Some units come with an outdoor patio and others have a connected balcony.
Canyon Village Amenities
The Canyon Village recreational amenities include tennis courts, three different community pools, one with a hot tub. Also, there’s plenty of nearby shopping, dining, movies, schools and transportation. The Santa Clarita trails are conveniently accessible at the south edge of the community, perfect for bike riding, walking, jogging or perhaps an evening stroll.
Nearby Schools and Parks
Nearby schools include Canyon High, Sierra Vista Junior High and there are several elementary schools, including Canyon Springs. Also, it’s just a short drive to Canyon Country Park and North Oaks Park is just next door to Canyon High. Both parks are well equipped! North Oaks park has a baseball diamond and a swimming pool and although we have not yet seen it for ourselves, Canyon Country Park now has an inclusive play area.
