Hillcrest New Home Community in Stevenson Ranch

Previously known as Aidlin Hills, Hillcrest is a brand-new residential development by Lennar, coming soon to the hills of Stevenson Ranch, CA. As of May 2026, we can clearly see individual home sites taking shape — a strong sign that actual home construction should be starting soon. Our aerial photos show the scope of the site as it begins to take shape.

At this time, we do not have additional details beyond what’s shared here, but be sure to come back for future updates as construction progresses. Once more information or more builder announcements becomes available — we’ll publish it here promptly.

Project Details

One of the defining features of Hillcrest is its hillside setting, which is expected to provide many homes with scenic mountain views and a more private feel than lower-elevation neighborhoods. Be sure to watch the video to get a better feel for these beautiful views.

  • Located west of Pico Canyon Road, just beyond the established Southern Oaks neighborhood.
  • Early site work began in 2025 and as of 2026 we can see some paved roads the 3 model homes nearly ready to pour.
  • Approved for approximately 102 single-family homes sized from 3,767 to 4,671 SF.
  • Lennar has proposed dedicating a large portion of the site as permanently preserved open space
  • Tract map associated with VTTM 52796.
  • Includes public facility lots, fire access infrastructure, and designated open space areas.

It will be a while before homes become available to purchase, but Lennar has homes available now in other nearby Santa Clarita housing developments, including Tesoro Highlands.

Hillcrest is only about 1 to 2 miles to two terrific parks including Jake Kuredjian Park and Pico Canyon Park. There’s also the Pico Canyon Stairs for those interested in a challenging climb.

Jake Kuredjian County Park is a Stevenson Ranch favorite with open lawns, shaded picnic areas, playground equipment, and pleasant walking paths — making it a perfect spot for family outings or a relaxing outdoor break close to home.

Pico Canyon Park provides a peaceful, nature-oriented escape. This 21-acre passive park features gentle trails, mature oaks, picnic areas, and scenic canyon views — ideal for walking, running, or simply enjoying the outdoors in a setting that feels worlds away from typical neighborhood parks.
