Paseo Neighborhood Description
Paseo Highlands, the latest addition to the Tesoro Highlands development, is just one of the 13 distinct neighborhoods within this new community. Notably, four neighborhoods are exclusively designed for active adults. Toscana, Estrada and Sierra Bella are the other 55+ neighborhoods, all conveniently situated in the same vicinity. It appears that the four active adult neighborhoods will be amalgamated under the name “The Villas at Tesoro Highlands.”
As of April 2024, the construction progress is evident, with approximately 30 homes at various stages of development. Among them, the three models are fully completed, 21 homes are nearly complete, and a number of others are in progress. We also see there are still a number home sites still available for construction.
Paseo Home Descriptions
The Paseo Highlands homes are thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of active adults and thankfully, all will be single story houses. There are 3 different models available in 3 exterior designs. The Santa Barbara exterior will be a combination of stucco with wood trim and a barrel tiled roof. Then we have a ranch styled California exterior with a more traditional gable roof. The third is Hill Country, inspired by home designs popular in northern California. All will fit in nicely with the overall look and feel of Tesoro Highlands.
As with most brand new homes, the main living space in Paseo is open and includes the living room, dining area and kitchen.
- The Paseo Residence 1 homes are sized at 2,221 SF and come with 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, a California room, office and a 2 car garage.
- The Paseo Residence 2 homes are sized at 2,522 SF and come with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a California room, office and a 2 car garage. There’s a connected casita living space with a separate entryway from the porch, but no door to the house. The separate living space consists of a bedroom, bathroom, closet and wet bar.
- The Paseo Residence 3 homes are the largest, sized at 2,680 SF with 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a California room, den and 2-bay garage. There’s a connected Next Gen Suite with a bedroom, full bathroom, walk-in closet and a living room featuring a wet bar. It has a separate entryway from the porch and an interior door to the house.

Beyond the numerous shared amenities planned for Tesoro Highlands, Paseo and the other 55+ neighborhoods will boast their exclusive HOA recreation area named “The Oasis.” This dedicated space features a clubhouse, pool, hot tub, gym, and more. As you can see in the adjacent photo, as of 10/2/24 the Oasis is nearly complete.
Residents of Tesoro Highlands, including those in Paseo, enjoy the convenience of a short drive to nearby schools, shopping centers, dining options, and more.
Among the nearby schools are Tesoro Del Valle Elementary, Rio Norte Junior High School, and Valencia High School. The elementary school is part of the Saugus Union School District, while Valencia High and Rio Norte are both within the William S. Hart School District.
