Where is Canyon Country?
Canyon Country CA is located about 40 miles north of downtown Los Angeles and is situated on the north east end in the City of Santa Clarita. It’s most easily accessible from interstate 14 however it can also be accessed from interstate 5 in Valencia. It’s sometimes considered the northern gateway to Acton CA and the Antelope Valley.
Canyon Country can be a popular stop for prospective home buyers because some homes are a bit more affordable than those next door in Valencia.

Canyon Country HOA’s & Mello Roos
Unlike Valencia, except for the new developments, many of homes for sale in Canyon Country are in neighborhoods without HOA’s. There are pro’s and con’s, but not having an homeowner’s association can be advantageous, especially if you don’t like having to abide by the HOA rules and regs.
